Lo Recordings compilation to feature Grimes, Aphex Twin and more

The London-based label are celebrating twenty years of operations with a new compilation featuring some of the key tracks from their back catalogue

London’s Lo Recordings have now been bring experimental gems to the public’s attention for twenty years. Since their humble beginnings they have put out records from the likes of Luke Vibert, Grimes, The Horrors’ Tom Furse and more. Now the label plan to celebrate two decades in the game with a brand new compilation.

The two-disc set, entitled It’s Been Hell, consists of a first CD called 10 Good Tracks and a second with the title 10 Good Remixes. The former includes tracks by NZCA Lines, Rothko, and the aforementioned Grimes and Tom Furse while the latter includes an Aphex Twin remix of The Mike Flowers Pops’ Debase and lots more.

It’s Been Hell is released on Lo Recordings on 26 November. Take a look at the track list and the album’s packaging below.
