Iconic Camden venue Roundhouse have announced the full programme for their Roundhouse Rising festival.
Roundhouse Rising festival is the venue’s yearly new music event bringing together nine days of live music, masterclasses and panel discussions.
Roundhouse Rising alumni Little Simz will headline the main room with a special live show and art experience designed specifically for that space. Elsewhere, a panel on the growth of grime and British urban music will be held featuring discussion from Joseph ‘JP’ Patterson (Senior Editor, Complex UK), Risky Roadz (Media Pioneer/Music Director) and Leila ‘Lilz’ Singh (Official Media PR/Eskimo Dance). There will also be an A&R masterclass from XL Recordings A&R consultant Caroline SM alongside Polydor’s Rich Castillo.
BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens will host a showcase of his favourite new acts featuring rising MC Isaiah Dreads and there will be opportunities across the nine days for emerging, unsigned acts to record at Roundhouse studios and learn about the industry at a wider level.
Roundhouse Rising runs 11-19 February 2017.
