BBC Four have announced that their schedule for tonight (30 December 2017) has been changed in order to make room for a night of programmes about George Michael.
The channel announced via Twitter that a night of programmes would be broadcast in tribute to the singer’s life. He passed away aged 53 on Christmas Day.
The schedule includes a repeat airing of George Michael: A Different Life, a 2008 BBC documentary featuring candid interviews with the singer about his childhood, Wham! and his turbulent relationship with his then-label Sony. The film features interviews with Elton John, Mariah Carey, Boy George and Noel Gallagher.
