Another impressive wave of names has landed for Sónar Barcelona.
Heading up the announcement is the Grammy nominated Anderson .Paak who will perform at Sónar By Night with his backing band, The Free Nationals.
Also joining the bill is the AV live show of Arca and Jesse Kanda who we caught at the festival back in 2015. In terms of UK talent, Giggs, AJ Tracey and Benji B have been added. Elsewhere, DJ Shadow, Jon Hopkins, Clark, Soulwax, Evian Christ and French experimentalist Vitalic will perform.
Under Resident Advisor‘s banner, Sónar have the world premiere of the Carl Craig Versus Synthesizer Ensemble, with the Detroit icon performing alongside a group of elite musicians including the pianist Francesco Tristano. Daphni will also play b2b with Hunee, and Marcel Dettmann will play b2b with Dr Rubinstein.
Other highlights include Little Dragon, Optimo and Lena Willikens.
Sónar Barcelona runs 15-17 June.
