The new single features rapper-producer Lamb and marks the first new music since 2015’s WTF (Where They From)
Missy Elliott has released her brand new track I’m Better, a surprise drop that came accompanied by a striking new video co-directed by Dave Meyers and Elliott. The release was preceded by an announcement Elliott on Twitter declaring: “ATTENTION‼️ New MISSY single & video dropping at MIDNIGHT‼️#ImBetter A MUST SEE!”
The track, which features a verse from Lamb, is an exercise in slow-burn minimalism, all pizzicato synths and negative space. You can watch the video via the player above.
