NTS Radio broadcast an unearthed interview with J Dilla yesterday (09 February).
The interview was recorded in 2001 by NTS Radio’s Ross Allen. According to a post on his Twitter (see below), the recording was recently found on a digital audiotape which was then used to broadcast via the online station.
Aired on the station’s second channel, their hour-long conversation is well worth a listen. Particularly poignant as today (10 February) marks 11 years since Dilla’s passing.
Dilla died in 2006 at his home in Los Angeles. Listen to the interview below.
