Steve Davis and Kavus Torab announce a new location for Dark Matter

The next event is 18 March at Brew Club, Clapton

Steve Davis and Kavus Torabi have announced that their regular night Dark Matter will relocate to Brew Club in Clapton. The night, which formerly took place at the Redchurch Brewery in Bethnal Green, will see Davis and psychedelic musician Torabi giving free rein to their experimental musical tastes in a series of extended sets with visuals by Sapphire Goss. According to the promotional copy, the night will give the pair an opportunity to “try out new and ever-crazier selections.” You can book tickets here.

Davis’ love of eclectic, electronic music is well-documented. Last year, the six time world-snooker champion caused no small amount of interest when he played a set at the last ever Bloc. We caught up with the retired snooker ace and part-time experimental music enthusiast at the 2016 festival to ask him about his new career. You can watch the video here.

Davis and Torabi also host the long running Interesting Alternative Show every Monday.
