The third wave of announcements have been made for the Moroccan festival’s eclectic international line-up
Oasis Festival returns to the outskirts of Marrakech for its third instalment at the luxury music resort The Source. Crack cover star Nicolas Jaar and dance music pioneer Richie Hawtin have been announced for the bill. With a burgeoning line-up comprising of international talent, the festival aims to highlight the finest worldwide acts and Morocco’s thriving electronic scene.
Jaar will be joined by the likes of Henrik Schwarz, Marcellus Pittman, Daniel Avery, Anja Schneider, Unes and more.
Hawtin will be making his Oasis debut by headlining on Friday, while Jaar is set to be Sunday’s main act.
The third wave of acts are additions to an already impressive bill consisting of Marcel Dettmann and Detroit producer Moodymann. Hamburg house producer Solomun will be taking over for the opening party on Thursday.
For those looking for a sun-soaked holiday and festival combination, the two-day event will be situated in a hotel complex seven miles out from the centre, nestled in the wake of the Atlas Mountains with stage-side pools.
