We’re excited to be premiering a brand new video from Oxford-based four-piece Low Island.
Having built up a lot of momentum over the last 12 months, the band released this track as a follow-up to their debut EP Just About Somewhere. This track expands on their colourful, jazz-inspired sound.
This video is directed by London-based music video director Roland Walters. It is based on Jon Ronson’s book So You’ve Been Publicly Shamed and the story of Justine Sacco – the communications director whose life fell apart when an ill-advised tweet of her’s went viral for all the wrong reasons.
Exploring the phenomenon of shame in the social media age, the Holding It Down video is an impressive mini-epic worthy of your attention. Watch it in the player below and find out more about the band here.
