Peep Nick Knight’s stunning collaboration with Travis Scott for Numéro Homme

Travis Scott for Numéro Homme

The images created by the iconic visionary and rapper are a must-see

Some partnerships are a match made in heaven and others flop completely.

The artistic collaboration between the agenda-setting image maker and SHOWstudio director Nick Knight with hip-hop artist and Cactus Jack Records founder Travis Scott would definitely fall in the former category.

In a project titled Twisted, Knight captures the musician in a series of jumps and twists, signifying the musician’s rise in the music industry. It’s a seriously stylish shoot with the rapper dressed in the likes of Liam Hodges, Alyx and Martine Rose. Take a look at the shoot here, from which you can view Knight’s signature style of contrasting dark shadows with light to accentuate motion.

This isn’t the first time the pair have collaborated. Last year (2016), Knight’s provocative visual Seven Deadly Sins – a tribute to stylist Edward Enninful – featured the rapper’s narrative flow. Knight also created the visuals for Scott’s 2016 album Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight. For Numero Homme’s 33rd issue, a smoke-obscured portrait of Travis Scott with diamond-studded grills will be gracing the cover – which is a continuation from Birds In The Trap‘s aesthetic.

In relation to the rapper’s ascension in the music sphere, the artist has just announced his Birds Eye View tour in support of his 2016 release. You can find more details here.
