Gorillaz have a 10-episode TV show in the works

In an interview with Q Magazine due out tomorrow (11 April), Hewlett reveals that the duo have been working on “other things he never imagined when Gorillaz was born”

According to Q Magazine, animator Hewlett has also confirmed plans for new visuals, merchandise and artwork.

Furthermore, the Gorillaz member revealed which artists turned down offers to collaborate with the duo. Apparently, Sade, Morrissey and Dionne Warwick didn’t want to partner up for tracks.

Humanz is set to drop on 28 April. So far, five tracks have been released from the forthcoming album, with the most recent release – entitled Let Me Out – featuring Pusha T and Mavis Staples.
