Gunnar Haslam announces new album Kalaatsakia, shares track Second Version

The techno artist will be releasing his fourth solo album on 2 June via Bunker New York

The NYC imprint has announced today (19 April) that Gunnar Haslam – one half of live hardware duo Romans – will be dropping Kalaatsakia in June.

The last track on the album, Second Version, has been shared on Soundcloud today. According to the press release, the album will sprawl “across the intersections of techno and more abstract sounds to take us on a wide-ranging journey from the subterranean to the coastal, from blown-out dub tones through fractured rhythms.”

Kalaatsakia will be Haslam’s fourth album, following up from 2016’s Lebesgue Measures.
