Arcade Fire release new single Everything Now, hint at new album

The Canadian band have surprise released the single on vinyl at Primavera Sound

Arcade Fire have released the song Everything Now on 12″ orange vinyl at Barcelona’s Primavera. The A side contains the single, and the B side features an instrumental version. The news comes via a tweet this morning, which states that the limited run of vinyl has “already sold out”.

Furthermore, the band have posted a mysterious tweet, telling fans to “stay tuned for Infinite Content”, alluding to soon-to-be-released material.

Earlier this year, on the eve of Trump’s inauguration, Arcade Fire surprise released the anti-Trump song I Give You Power featuring American gospel singer Mavis Staples. Taking to Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show, Butler said, “It’s the eve of the inauguration and I think it’s easy to get sucked into sitting on the couch and checking your news feed and watching things on CNN, and we’re just musicians and the only thing we have to offer is our music.”

The band are set to embark on their European tour this year, including dates at London’s York Hall on 4-5 July, and Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl on 6 July.
