The label’s new venture is coming to Hackney this week, and Carla Dal Forno, Raime and Beneath will be bringing the selections

It’s been announced via Facebook that Kiran Sande will be launching his new vinyl venture, Low Company, at Hackney Downs Studios tomorrow (5 May).

Speaking to Resident AdvisorSande admits that he “has no idea” as to why he’s embarked on this new project. “If I figure it out I’ll certainly let you know.”

The store will sell “hand-picked new and second-hand underground stuff more or less across the board but especially art-rock/DIY, (post-)punk, indie-pop, techno, dnb, garage, grime, industrial, darkwave, minimal synth, ambient, dub, jazz, avant-garde.”

A webshop will also be launching “at some point further down the line.”
