It’s not when you think it is
Ever since a store mistakenly said that the album would be dropped on 26 May, rumours began circulating that it was the release date. Today (25 May), Lana Del Rey revealed that Lust For Life will land on 21 July. The singer shared the details via a tweet – see below.
Speculation first began earlier this year, in February, on whether Lana Del Rey would be releasing a new album. Over the course of the past few months, the singer-songwriter has shared a witchy trailer, the new album artwork, the singles Love and Lust For Life, and she’s revealed details of several guest appearances. Stevie Nicks, Sean Lennon and The Weeknd will be featured on the forthcoming album Lust For Life. However, a release date hadn’t been announced until now, with Del Rey having simply stated that the album would be “coming soon”.
