The rap duo are up next on the Pyramid Stage
Despite the recent death of Killer Mike’s mother, the performance will still be going ahead today at 4.15pm (GMT) on the Pyramid Stage, following on from an introduction by Jeremy Corbyn. Watch the live stream of their performance here.
The rap duo are known for their politically charged performances and at Field Day this year, on 3 June, they gave a shout out to the Labour party on stage.
There was some doubt that the performance would be going ahead after Killer Mike stated on Twitter that he had to “return to the States” to visit his mother and “be with her in what may be her final hours”. Yesterday, he posted a tribute to his mother, saying she had passed away. On Instagram today, he said that he’ll be performing on stage for her. View his posts below.
