Moritz von Oswald and more have been confirmed for the programme
Berlin Atonal and Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin (DSO Berlin) have announced that they’ll be presenting Parallax on 29 September at the Kraftwerk. Parallax will be hosting a one-day event bringing together classical composers. Those who’ve been unveiled for the programme include Moritz von Oswald, Sophie Schnell – aka PYUR – Valerio Tricoli and Subtext’s Paul Jebanasam.
The event will focus on the recontextualisation of contemporary classical music. Schnell will be collaborating with Tricoli to perform a piece in respond to Charles Ives’ seminal The Unanswered Question. Furthermore, von Oswald is set to perform Reminiscenza – a piece inspired by Claude Debussy’s La Mer.
