DJ Harvey to launch Pike Records with The Sound Of Mercury Rising compilation

His compilation will be out on 29 September

Having been appointed as the Cultural Attaché of Pikes Records, the revered DJ will be launching the imprint with his new compilation, The Sound Of Mercury Rising. The release will be available on vinyl, digital and in a CD format.

In 2015, the London-born DJ performed at his first Mercury Rising residency at Pikes, Ibiza, and has since played for three consecutive terms.

Pikes Records is owned by Ibiza Rocks founders Andy McKay and Dawn Hindle. On the label, Harvey said via a press release, “I see so many avenues to work together to release music, everything from live recordings from Ibiza Rocks and Pikes, mix tapes, original productions, showcasing new artists, there’s all sorts of avenues to open up.”

Earlier this year, Harvey announced a string of global residencies at his favourite clubs around the world, including Berghain, Ministry of Sound and Concrete. You can check out a list of tour dates here.
