Larry Heard to preview new album at Sunfall

Larry Heard

The legendary producer will be making his live comeback on 12 August

Larry Heard – aka Mr. Fingers – has been confirmed for a performance at the one-day and one-night festival, taking place at London’s Brockwell Park. Set to be the producer’s first show in the capital in 20 years, he’ll be previewing new material from his as-yet-untitled double LP due for release in 2018. The album will be his first LP in 15 years, since 2005’s Loose Fingers (Soundtrack From The Duality Double-Play).

The new double album will be preceded by a second Larry Heard Presents Mr. White EP, entitled Virtual Emotion / Supernova, and it’ll be out on Alleviated Records on 2 September. The two’s most notable collaboration, You Rock Me / The Sun Can’t Compare, was released 11 years ago.

The line-up for Sunfall this year includes scheduled performances from former Crack cover stars Helena Hauff and Ben UFO, Beautiful Swimmers, Princess Nokia, The Black Madonna and Floating Points amongst others. You can check out the full line-up for the festival’s and its Night Session here, and buy tickets here.
