The cause of death was suicide
The Linkin Park frontman has reportedly died by suicide. According to TMZ, the vocalist was found dead at his Palos Verdes residence today (20 July) at 5PM (GMT) by an employee. Bennington was married and leaves six children from two marriages.
Bandmate Mike Shinoda has confirmed the singer’s death: “Shocked and heartbroken, but it’s true. An official statement will come out as soon as we have one.”
