Snoop Dogg bootlegged Jay-Z’s 4:44

He said he doesn’t understand Tidal

Snoop Dogg has admitted to pirating Jay-Z’s latest album 4:44. In a video, he gave a shoutout to the Roc Nation rapper and praised his new release as “a motherfucking hot album”.

He went on to admit that he doesn’t have a Tidal subscription and nor does he understand the platform. The artist said he bootlegged the album because he “went on iTunes looking for this shit” but “couldn’t find it.”

4:44 was released on 30 June exclusively to Tidal and Sprint. The album has now been made available to download for free from Tidal without having to sign up to the streaming platform.

In an interview with Rolling Stoneproducer No I.D. has revealed that a collaboration between Jay-Z and James Blake will appear on the bonus edition of the album.
