On his BBC Radio 6 Music show, Iggy Confidential, the veteran punk icon played a selection of tunes from Vince Staples, LiL Peep, SZA and most notably, The Black Madonna.

“I’d like to meet The Black Madonna sometime,” he said, upon selecting the Chicago artist’s track He Is The Voice I Hear. “This is a lot better music than the usual mountain of high paid dance crap that’s out there.”

It’s not the first time the rock icon has highlighted The Black Madonna as one of his favourite DJs. Last year, during a Red Bull Music Academy lecture in Montreal, he said, “I’d rather listen to The Black Madonna than the very popular EDMs”, and also listed Young Thug as a favourite.
