XL founder Richard Russell announced for Phonox DJ set

He’ll be joining the venue’s Saturday resident, HAAi

Earlier this year, the XL label boss announced his latest project, Everything Is Recorded. Now, Brixton venue has announced that Russell will be performing a rare DJ set under the pseudonym Everything Is Recorded. He’ll be joining Phonox’s Saturday resident, HAAi.

Previously, he’s released the five-track EP Close But Not Quite under the collaborative project. Recorded at Russell’s west London studio, The Copper House, he’s collaborated with a number of artists for the EP, including Giggs, Obongjayar, Warren Ellis, Infinite and Mela Murder amongst others. In July, he released a Sampha-featuring video for the EP’s title track.

Russell will be playing at Phonox on 23 September. Tickets can be purchased here.
