The one-day London festival is set to make its return next year, on 2 June.
However, the festival has also announced that they’ll be “upping sticks” and moving to a different location. Its new area is yet to be confirmed. Since its inception in 2007, the London event has consistently taken place at Victoria Park. Originally a weekend festival, the organisers condensed Field Day into a one-day takeover this year, on 3 June, for the first time.
Aphex Twin made a triumphant live return and headlined the festival’s new Barn Stage this year. A vinyl encased in a chartreuse sleeve, entitled London 03.06.17, was released exclusively at the festival. Elsewhere, a rollout of Crack favourites performed, such as former cover stars Abra and Nicolas Jaar. On Crack’s stage, we hosted shoegaze pioneers Slowdive, Death Grips, Dr. John Cooper Clarke and more.
