John Maus releases video for new track Teenage Witch

The single is from his upcoming album Screen Memories

In August, John Maus announced his first album in six years, entitled Screen Memories, and released the first single Combine. He’s now followed up with the second single Teenage Witch and there’s an accompanying visual. Directed by Jennifer Juniper Stratford, the video contains footage of Maus as a teenager.

The artist has also announced an extra London date, adding a show at Dalston’s The Victoria to his touring schedule for 26 October.

Screen Memories is out on 27 October via Ribbon Music, and it follows up from 2011’s We Must Become The Pitiless Censors Of Ourselves. Furthermore, a six LP box set is due to be released on 16 April, 2018. Comprised of his entire works, including those that are out of print, it’ll feature a new album entitled Addendum along with Screen Memories. The vinyl will be exclusive to the limited edition box set.

Maus is set to perform at this year’s Simple Things Festival on 21 October. Head here for more info and tickets.
