On 21 October, Bristol will play host to Simple Things Festival – the multi-venue, multi-genre event which runs from early afternoon to the not-so-early hours of Sunday morning. In anticipation, we’ve pulled together some of our favourite tracks from the extensive line-up.
Crack Magazine’s Simple Things playlist includes songs from Wild Beasts (who’ll be playing one of their last ever shows), New York rapper Cakes Da Killa, Syrian artist Omar Souleyman, Warp records legend Clark, rising Bristol punk band IDLES and Frank Ocean collaborator (Sandy) Alex G alongside more club-orientated sounds from Shanti Celeste, Daphni and Mixpak artists Florentino, Jubilee and Dre Skull.
