Simple Things announce Crack Magazine stage

Idles

Crack Magazine will be hosting the main stage at Colston Hall, on 21 October

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be hosting the main stage at Bristol’s Simple Things Festival this year. The one-day blowout is set to take place across a range of venues in the city, and Crack’s stage will be stationed at Colston Hall.

To celebrate the music we champion here at Crack Magazine, our stage will be headed up by electronic music grandees Leftfield, who’ll be playing their seminal Mercury Prize-nominated album Leftism in its entirety. Wild Beasts, who’ve recently announced their split, will be playing one of their special farewell shows, and Bristol band Idles – who’ve been enjoying a steady ascent in the past year – are set to head up the stage with a homecoming show. Furthermore, there’ll be rich, soulful vocals from singer-songwriter Nadine Shah, who’s recently released her third album Holiday Destination.

Elsewhere, spread across Bristol’s city centre, Simple Things will be hosting former Crack cover star Omar Souleyman, Daphni, Clark, Juan Atkins, Shackleton, Jlin and more.
