Butterz return to Fabric in January with a special WWE-inspired event in room one.
On 26 January, DJ Q, Murlo, DJ Champion, Elijah & Skilliam and Mina will play standalone sets before having a “rumble” where all DJs will play back-to-back for the first time. The format is based on the WWE Royal Rumble – a battle royal where numerous wrestlers enter the ring at short intervals.
The setup was explained in a statement which reads, “We make no secret of our love for WWE at Butterz, we even went to Wrestlemania this year! Avid fans would know Royal Rumble is their flagship show in January where you get all the performers in the ring at the same time, and they throw each other over the top rope until there’s one left standing. For our first fabric show of 2018, and first Butterz party in London since 2016 we will play our own separate sets, and leave a couple of hours to have a rumble of our own, playing back to back together for the first time. We are all mates but once we are on the decks, we will put our friendships aside and go into sound clash mode.”

The actual Royal Rumble takes place in Philadelphia on Sunday 28 January 2018. The event will begin the Road to WrestleMania 34 which takes place in April.
