The elusive artist implied through a Tumblr post yesterday (27 November) that he’s sitting on new, unreleased material.
His post states: “WELL I️ MADE THE ALBUM BEFORE 30. I️ JUST AINT PUT THAT BITCH OUT!” -QUOTES FROM AN INTERVIEW I️ HAVEN’T GIVEN HAHA”.
In 2012, the artist allegedly sent out a tweet stating, “5 albums before 30.” Now age 30, he has released the albums Channel Orange, Endless and Blonde.
The singer-songwriter is no longer signed to a record label after splitting from Def Jam Recordings last year. At the time, he said he didn’t have to “operate in an album format” any longer, suggesting that he could instead “operate in half-a-song format.”
Yesterday, Ocean released his video album Endless on CD, DVD, VHS and vinyl. It was made available to purchase from his blonded.co webstore for 24 hours only.
