The Gaslamp Killer sues two women over rape allegations

In October, Twitter user @chelseaelaynne accused The Gaslamp Killer of allegedly drugging and raping her and her friend RaeAn in a LA hotel, in 2013.

Chelsea said, “The Gaslamp Killer drugged my best friend and myself at a party at the Standard Hotel, had non-consensual sex with both of us while we were completely incapacitated, and then dumped us back in front of the standard after it happened.”

According to TMZthe producer, real name William Bensussen, is reportedly suing Chelsea Tadros, RaeAn Medina and Chelsea’s boyfriend – who shared the story – for $5 million in damages. He denies the allegations but claims to have had consensual sex with the two women. He reportedly has a witness who claims he did not tamper with their drinks.

In a report obtained by PitchforkBensussen calls the allegations “malicious and fabricated”.

After the allegations, Bensussen issued an apology online, and Low End Theory denounced him. Brainfeeder distanced themselves from the former label affiliate, though Flying Lotus appeared to show support for the producer by calling the internet a “fuckin’ liar”.
