Gorillaz collaborate with C.P. Company for limited edition merch

In celebration of their Humanz tour, former Crack cover stars Gorillaz have teamed up with Italian apparel brand C.P. Company for a limited edition collection of merchandise.

Partnering with the fictional band’s online store G Foot, C.P. Company have produced a collaborative flight hat and tour jacket – both of which can be viewed in the image above. The jersey lining of the tour jacket bears a print of band member Noodle, illustrated by Jamie Hewlett. The flight hat references one often worn by Noodle in the band’s visuals.

A statement on C.P. Company’s website says: “Demons allow us to see our failings, to see our nemeses and nightmares – and it is by confronting these demons that we become more human. The idea of the jacket and flight cap is a protect and survive strategy. We’re trying to make a survival kit – an extra emotional armour to fight the demons without and within. We hope the collaboration enables the wearer to do just that – to be ready, but also to be kinder, more generous and more human”.

Gorillaz are currently on tour with dates lined up for Manchester (1 December), Birmingham (2 December) and two London shows (4-5 December).

The flight hat and tour jacket are both available to buy now from C.P. Company’s website and flagship stores.
