Regis releases new 12″ The Master Side

Karl O’Connor (aka Regis) has released new 12″ The Master Side. Available to buy now at London record store Low Company, the label Blackest Ever Black is due to give the 12-inch a full release next Friday (10 November).

A vinyl-only release, The Master Side is O’Connor’s first solo record as Regis in three years, and is comprised of two tracks.

On the release, the label has described it as “The most important jazz album of 1964-65” – the title of a Chet Baker LP. The vinyl’s description states, “Trust is good but control is better.”

This year, the artist has shared a set of 20-year-old recordings entitled Live In N.Y.C. and a new version of his 1996 debut Gymnastics. His last full-length was 2001’s Penetration.

You can order the vinyl via Blackest Ever Black and listen to samples at Low Company. View the new artwork and tracklist below.
