UK promoters Festival Republic have announced a number of heavyweight acts for their one-day event at London’s Finsbury Park on 30 June.
Rap duo Run The Jewels will be joining the line-up, along with the ‘Godfather of Punk’ Iggy Pop – who’ll be performing a UK exclusive show – Queens of the Stone Age and The Hives.
In August, Queens of the Stone Age released their latest album Villains. Iggy Pop teamed up with producer Oneohtrix Point Never for the soundtrack album to the Safdie Brothers’ film Good Time. Recently, Run The Jewel’s El-P and Killer Mike featured on DJ Statik Selectah’s track Put Jewels On It and The Hives have been working on material for a new album.
