Alice Glass responds to Ethan Kath’s defamation suit, says there are multiple victims

Former Crystal Castles vocalist Alice Glass has responded to Ethan Kath’s defamation lawsuit by filing a declaration in court, following on from claims that Kath sexually abused and raped her during their time together in the 2000s and 2010s.

In files obtained by TMZ, Glass reveals that two other women filed complaints against Kath in November, after she posted her allegations to her website in October.

Earlier this month, The Daily Beast reported that Kath is under investigation. According to the publication, “a source with knowledge” claimed that “several women” have accused Kath of sexual assault. One anonymous victim accused Kath of initiating a sexual relationship with her when she was 16, and said, “I want this guy’s insane horrible mistreatment of underage girls to be out in the open for everyone to know and to protect themselves.”

In her statement, Glass said, “He forced me to have sex with him or, he said, I wouldn’t be allowed to be in the band anymore.”

Kath has denied the allegations, calling Glass’ account “pure fiction”. After Glass’ performance in Chicago on 17 November, she was served her court summons by someone posing as a fan.
