Brooklyn’s Good Room announce residents for 2018

Octo Octa and Steve Mizek & Savile join Martyn and Kim Ann Foxman at the Greenpoint venue

Good Room have locked in the names heading up regular parties in the new year. Following a banner 2017, Octo Octa will be bringing her Friendzone! party, which she runs with DJ partner Kellam Matthews, to the Brooklyn space with the first event set for 1 January with Dorisburg playing live.

Joining Octo Octa with regular parties are Smart Bar residents and the engines behind Argot/Tasteful Steve Mizek & Savile. Steve Mizek will be familiar to many as the former editor of blog Little While Earbuds while Savile has released records on Stripped & Chewed, Northside ’82 and The Nite Owl Diner.

Residents returning for 2018 include Kim Ann Foxman, who will be helming the first Firehouse party of 2018 with Andrew Potter of Throne of Blood on 19 January. Martyn will be building on his Good Room residency which he has held for the last two years, as the Dutch producer continues to invite the biggest names in future-facing club sounds under the 3024 banner.
