Young Turks’ Sampha has revealed that he’ll be releasing an EP of remixes, featuring Timedance label head Batu, Parisian artist Bambounou and London-based producer Parris.
The release date for Process Remixes is yet to be announced. In February, Sampha released his debut album Process via Young Turks and he took home this year’s Mercury Prize. Earlier this year, he linked up with XL founder Richard Russell for the label head boss’ project Everything Is Recorded. Together, they collaborated on the track Close But Not Quite. In October, Sampha appeared on Russell’s project again and teamed up with Syd for the song Show Love.
Hessle Audio marked the first release of their tenth year with Batu’s Marius EP in June. Parris appeared on the labels The Trilogy Tapes and Hemlock, and Bambounou’s last full-length album was 2015’s Centrum.
