Alice Glass has shared a video for her new track Cease and Desist.
In an Instagram post, Glass describes the track as a “call to arms for all survivors”. The caption states: “We need to fight back against those who have victimized us and against the feelings that tell us to give up inside.”
“This song is what I need to tell myself to get through each day, and what I hope other survivors can remember when they feel like they can’t make it through the darkness of their own recovery. Every day is a fight.”
Last year, Glass accused former bandmate Ethan Kath of psychological abuse and rape. Kath is currently under investigation for alleged sexual assault and has filed a defamation lawsuit against Glass.
