Carnaval de Bahidorá complete 2018 line-up with Axel Boman, Gilles Peterson and others

The Mexican festival has finalised the line-up for their 2018 edition.

Providing festival-goers with a collective experience lies at the core of the event. Mixing a communal atmosphere with Mexican culture, music and a strict sustainability programme, Carnaval de Bahidorá will return to its base, in Morelos’ idyllic Las Estacas, for its sixth edition on 17-18 February. Due to its green ethos, the two-day annual celebration is the only large-scale event of its nature that has been given the go-ahead by the park’s administration and local authorities to take place at Las Estacas.

Those who’ve been added to the programme include Gilles Peterson, Axel Boman, Ariel Pink, Romare, LA label Awesome Tapes From Africa, DJ Scratch and others. They’ll be joined by the likes of Mount Kimbie, Fred P and Jayda G.

Festivities kick off with a warm up party on 16 February, during which Bahidorá will celebrate international artists. The event will be exclusive to those who purchase camping or Hotel Bahidorá tickets.
