Karin Dreijer continues the sex-and-food theme in Wanna Sip.
Directed by collaborator Martin Falck, the three-minute video is the fifth chapter of a series of visuals. Previous instalments are the videos for Switch Seeks Same, A New Friend, To the Moon and Back and The Twosome Takeover. Drawing parallels to the Falck-directed visual for To the Moon and Back, Wanna Sip uses similar themes of food and eroticism.
The song is taken from her 2017 album Plunge – Dreijer’s first album as Fever Ray in eight years. The album features on our list of The Top 100 Albums of 2017, and it’s set to be issued on vinyl and CD on 23 February via Rabid Records.
