Helena Hauff, Lena Willikens and Batu to play Manchester’s Project 13

Helena Hauff

The Manchester club night and label, Project 13, has revealed its line-up of events, taking place from February to March.

Three electronic-heavy events will take place at The White Hotel. Former Crack cover star Helena Hauff – who tops our list of The Most Exciting DJs in the World (Right Now) – will be bringing her unique blend of post-punk, EBM and industrial sonics to Project 13, joined by Umwelt and Morah, who are both affiliated with Hauff’s label Return to Disorder. The date will mark Hauff’s second set of a 12-month residency with the club night.

A regular at Project 13, Batu has been added to the programme. The Timedance boss will share a night with Lena Willikens and Bristolian duo Giant Swan on 24 February.

Furthermore, Hyperdub boss Kode9 is set to take over Salford in the same month, with a seven-hour excursion. Billed as a special performance, it’ll also be the first night since The White Hotel has finished its renovation, meaning the label head’s mind-bending set will be boosted by a newly installed sound system.
