JME spotlights Trump’s error of blaming Obama for Bush’s embassy deal

Donald Trump has posted a tweet today (12 January) citing his reasons for cancelling his UK visit.

The tweet reads: “Reason I canceled my trip to London is that I am not a big fan of the Obama Administration having sold perhaps the best located and finest embassy in London for “peanuts,” only to build a new one in an off location for 1.2 billion dollars. Bad deal. Wanted me to cut ribbon-NO!”

However, the embassy relocation began under George W. Bush, Obama’s predecessor, in 2008. Grime MC JME has responded to the error, correcting the American president with factual evidence. In a tweet he says, “dated 2nd October 2008, so it was man like George W Bush”.
