Mykki Blanco lined up for Royal College of Art lecture

The rapper, artist and activist will be speaking at the high profile institution this month.

Mykki Blanco has announced that he is to give a lecture at London’s Royal College of Art this January. There’s scant information as to the topic, but the announcement posted to Facebook earlier this afternoon bills it as an RCA Arts & Humanities talk.

It isn’t the first time Blanco has graced the hallowed halls of academia. In September last year, he spoke at the University of Bergen Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design. A talk which, in turn, drew on his 2015 lecture “Sexual Politics and Logistical Business Strategies in Independent Music”.

The event takes place on 16 January, 6.30-8.00pm at the Gorvy Lecture Theatre. See the Facebook post below for more details.
