Manchester festival, Parklife, has revealed the extensive line-up for its upcoming edition, at Heaton Park on 9-10 June.
Headlining the weekender is grime don Skepta, rock ‘n’ roll legend Liam Gallagher, the reunited noughties crew N.E.R.D. and Bonobo. A plethora of grime, afrobeat and rap artists have been announced, such as J Hus – whose summer hit Did You See topped our list of The Top 25 Tracks of 2017 – Vince Staples, AJ Tracey, Giggs, Stefflon Don and Manchester’s ascendant star IAMDDB.
For the festival’s electronic leanings, there’s Four Tet, Nina Kraviz, Bicep and The Black Madonna. Drum ‘n’ bass pioneer Goldie will also be stepping up for the stage, along with Chicago legend Honey Dijon, rising artist Peggy Gou and the Peach Discs label head Shanti Celeste.
Elsewhere on the programme, there’s Mercury Prize award winner Sampha, Kelela and The Internet amongst many, many others.
