The first wave of artists has been announced for Waking Life Festival – arts and music festival which had its first run last August.
The event takes place in Crato, Portugal. According to a press release, the location is “one of the most deserted regions in Southern Europe. A mythical place where the boundaries of time and space are limitless.”
Among the first names announced are ascendant Manchester DJ Willow who featured in our list of the 50 Most Exciting DJs in the World (Right Now), Russian selector Inga Mauer, Giegling alumni DJ Dustin and a live set from Lone.
The festival also plays host to a range of installations and happenings, encouraging a “place for a temporary community to create and experiment, but the installations, happenings and silliness is up to you to discover.”
