FX have dropped their first full-length trailer ahead of the release of Atlanta‘s second season, entitled Robbin’ Season.
The one-minute clip shows Donald Glover’s character, Earn, sleeping in a garage, while a producer urges his cousin, Paper Boi, to make a party hit. Quick-fire shots show police surrounding a dead body, and Earn being told, “You’re gonna get us robbed” at the clip’s closing moment.
Previously, two cryptic teasers had been released.
Glover, who creates and stars in the series, recently revealed that the season is inspired by the 1992 film Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation. Speaking at the Television Critics Association panel earlier this year, he said, “Our characters are in a desperate transition from their old lives to where they’re headed now. And robbin’ season is a metaphor to where we are now.”
