The Spanish festival will be held at Descalzos Viejos, Ronda, on 8-10 June.
Uva Festival is founded upon the intersection of music, visual arts and architecture, specifically curating its programme for an intimate setting. For 2018, the Spanish event is set to take place in a 15th century monastery that’s been converted into a vineyard overlooking the cliffs of Ronda.
This year will see the festival implement a new, third stage for ambient and experimental jazz acts. For the line-up, Uva has announced Berlin-based producer Call Super, Regelbau’s DJ Sports, Red Light Radio’s Orpheu the Wizard, Donna Leake, Habibi Funk, Ilian Tape recruits Skee Mask and the Zenker Brothers, Hivern Discs’ CPI and more. Expanding beyond music, the architect collective Zuloark will lead a design workshop for students to participate in constructing various elements of the festival.
