Swing Ting affiliate Epic B was robbed at gunpoint this Wednesday (31 January), and is now asking for your help.
Narrating an account of the robbery to his manager, a GoFundMe page details how the rapper has had two computers, two iPhones and $500 stolen from him. As a result, the artist has lost the material he was working on.
The GoFundMe states: “I got in the Lyft, and midway through the ride the car I’m in gets t-boned by another car. The Lyft driver calls 911, since the passenger side door I was sitting near was caved in, and I narrowly avoided serious injury.”
“Two minutes later as the Lyft driver’s back is turned, four people walked towards the car I was in.”
He adds, “Initially as they were going through the car’s contents, I didn’t think they would mess with me because I was just the passenger, but once they saw me I knew it was over. I was robbed at gunpoint for my backpack with all my equipment, they emptied my pockets of my phone and cash which I needed for a deposit on a new room I was planning on moving into, and told me to ‘keep it moving.'”
Epic B is looking to raise $3000 to replace his production equipment. Donations can be made here. Read his tweet below.

I was robbed at gunpoint last night for both my computers, my iPhone, and $500 in cash. I lost all the music I’ve been making. I’m starting from zero.
