SOPHIE drops wonky new single Faceshopping

Following on from her previous two singles, It’s Okay to Cry and Ponyboy, SOPHIE has released the track Faceshopping.

Featuring vocals from Cecile Believe, according to Genius, the song first appeared as a short concept instrumental in 2016, and it premiered at her Los Angeles debut last October. On the song, the British producer said, “It’s real! Faceshopping! I’m real when I shop my face!”

Faceshopping will feature on her new album Whole New World, due out this year. A release date is yet to be confirmed, though the producer-slash-singer recently announced her live London debut at Heaven on 13 March.

Recently, SOPHIE featured on Charli XCX’s Pop 2 and Let’s Eat Grandma’s track Hot Pink.
