The Streets announce vinyl reissue of first two albums

Last October, Mike Skinner announced that The Streets would be revived for a UK tour.

The run of shows will begin from April – six years after the farewell tour. The exciting news was later followed up with the release of three new tracks, entitled Burn Bridges, Sometimes I Hate My Friends More Than My Enemies and If You Ever Need to Talk I’m Here.

Now, it’s been announced that The Streets’ first two albums will be reissued on vinyl next month. 2002’s Original Pirate Material and 2004’s A Grand Don’t Come For Free are currently out of print on vinyl, but will be re-released as a double LP package on 30 March via Rhino Records.

Last year, Original Pirate Material turned 15. Read our retrospective feature looking back on the album’s controversial and seismic impact.
