Bristol collective Young Echo are primed to release a new, self-titled LP later this month. It’s a 24-track-long double LP rich in collaboration and sonic exploration, covering icy dancehall deconstructions, punk soundsystem experiments and captivating outsider electronics featuring works from Jabu, Vessel, Kahn, Neek, Ishan Sound, Ossia, Manonmars, Bogues, Rider Shafique, chester giles and Jasmine.
To tease the release, they’ve produced a hypnotising video blending a clutch of tracks from the album. Josh and Alex Hughes-Games produced the video using abstract video mapping techniques which mirror that submerging, enthralling quality which runs through the whole of the illustrious Young Echo catalogue.
